Oktoberfest 5K Run

Beaver Fairgrounds, Rt. 235 South of Rt. 522 in Beaver Springs, PA.

RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS: 8:30 A.M. – 9:45 A.M.

Race Start: 10:00 A.M. Awards presented immediately after race

*Awards to the first place overall male and female winners.

*Awards to first & second place runners in each age category. Third place awards based on registration.

Age Groups: Male & Female: 16 & under, 17-22, 23-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60+

*Race Day Registration: $15.00. Preregister by October 6: $12.00

(Susquehanna Ridge Runners Club members: $10.00)

Course Description:

5 kilometer (3.1 mile) wheel measured course begins on Rt. 235 S. with a slight uphill grade for the first 3/4 mile. Otherwise a mostly level course through beautiful central Pennsylvania countryside. Course ends at Church of God, Prophecy. Runners return 2/10 mile to the fairgrounds for awards presentation and refreshments. The Beaver Springs Ambulance crew is on hand for emergencies. All registered runners can shower at the MACC after the race.

The Beaver Springs Oktoberfest features

crafts, collectibles, baked goods, farm produce, and a variety of lunch stands.

Come early to browse, stay afterward for lunch.
